Nice moves. ๐
My da used to hit me with them pressure points hits when I was younger ๐ great times, dunno if it was teaching or trying to toughen me up, miss the owl guy
That… is one bold moustache.
"With a fcuking pencil!"
WOW I always wondered what happened to the VILLAGE PEOPLE after they split up now I know they are teaching self-defence moves up to number 3
Defendu – Fairbaren
Very good video and tips I will definitely use in the future. would to see those nerve points dealing with the liver or spleen. Peace
do these work on bears? the nose one best?
Always trust a guy in a bar to train on self defense.
hehe those may work for the average drunk person but not most people that have a clue , if you aer to busy thinking Ihave to hit this or that presurepoint your going down it has to be automatic happen before the thought of doign it or it will probably not work and you will end up hurt, I mean really how many people that are being agressive topwards you are going to be standing ther waiting for you to do something more times then not yoiur going to get suckered
OMG! Jim Westโs assistant in the first video is Dale Comstock before Delta Force and Steroids.
what bs
Though alot of this stuff is good. There are alot of people out there who love pain. Also in middle of a fight there is adrenaline dump where pain is muted. Some people have a lot of padding around those areas also. Drugs are another factor for delayed response. If in doubt go the knee. Its a gimme. All the best.
Nerve strike #3. Grab that guy's mustache and pull down hard. ๐
i have the vhs tape to Randy Wanner & Bob Taylor , i ended up with the tape when i was about 19 years old.
knife on the other hand looks good to me (of course I'm not an expert and showing it so many times distracts from the video)
some of those techniques make some sense. but if you are behind the you be better of using a rear naked choke than most of the techniques shown here probably even if you were a woman (although I don't know exactly how much strength a woman possesses ) also you will almost never be behind your opponent in this type of encounter. and as far as pressing with your finger into the notch in his throat you be better of punching your adversary there or at least making a fist and striking with your thumb then pushing it into him and down than using your finger.(although you might consider using your pointing finger as shown here once the hit is delivered and yes the strike also it is unlikely that the attacker will use front choke its not a most efficient way to make someone unconscious even if you are using both thumbs into the notch and you have a person against the wall .it can be done this way if you are much stronger than the other person and the other person panics the assailant would be much better of coming behind his victim and putting a rear naked choke on them than try to choke them by wrapping their hands around their throat. and this is what you need to look out for. or just a punch to a solar plexus for example is more efficient than wrapping your arms around person's throat from the front.
Problem with pressure points is that intoxicated people won't really feel them. Wrist locks work a bit better. I've tried various things on drunk people when I was working as a doorman and wanted to get them out. Wrist locks for control worked well. Talking them out worked best.
Also known as the brachial stun. ๐ฎ
Time to hit the replay icon, then hit again.
This is all well and good on paper. But in practice, only two of these techniques actually work in a real fight. And the knife that they're peddling is shit! It has a week flimsy tang, and it's made from really weak crap ass Steel!
Another fast strike is the crushing of the larynx with a couple of fingers…works๐
haha poor demo dummy
This ancient are of boolsheehdoh
And I thought fighting was no longer allowed at The Blue Oyster Bar! ๐๐
His "volunteer would-be attacker": "Oh man, what kinda nonsense cruelty am I in for this time around?" ๐ฎ
Poor Joel, lol.
Show us how to use that mustach as a weapon
What I know about pressure points ๐๐ป is that some drunks don't feel a thing when trying to control them. But the Stomach #9 works every time. ๐๐ป
This reminds of me of my old man's (Vietnam vet) self defense lessons.
This is why pressure point techniques are so commonly used in modern day MMA. They all know how good this stuff works in a real fight against someone trying to knock your head off or choke you unconscious.
It is easy to do these moves when someone is standing like a zombie, not so easy when they are going for it. If it was that easy all the full contact fighters would be doing it.
Big THANKS to those assistants!
WILD PEOPLE….WHAT SELL THAT LUNATICK….KNIFE……BUY BUY…"SUPER KNIFE"…….LUNATICK
All of this is way more effective with a kubotan. Just use one as a keychain so its always with you. Hitting someone anywhere hard with one, especially the more pointy ones, concentrates the pain into one spot and really gives you an edge in a fight.
I once grabbed a man by his handlebar mustache and beat his head against an urinal to prevent rest stop butt rape.๐ค
you advise that the best time to attack someone is when your opponent is talking to someone else ?
what kind of cowardly shit is that ?
Someone sucker punched me in the neck once and it made me stagger and fall
What's with all this complicated, fancy crap?! Just jab a sob in the eyes.
lets see yu do that with some who are actually fit with some muscle mass on them
A hundred dollar knife thatโs most likely made in China. Bar room dojo is something different.
They work just need to know how to do it. I would use other techniques you know not be stupid, but it does work I've used it many times
