And conor is what happens when an MMA fight tries to box.
It is even :
One win for MMA and one win for boxing.
Now show a 49-year old Ray Mercer knock out Tim Sylvia in 7 seconds just a year after he lost the UFC Heavyweight title.
Ray Mercer won his fight
I respect Toney for doing this. Takes a huge amount of grit and balls. I remember this dude in fight night round 3 he was mad annoying hahahah
Randy was smart in his approach vs Toney, Timmy not so much lol. Tim decided to stand in front of an old Ray Mercer and decided to get KO'ed in 9 seconds.
Couture humping his leg
MMA is for queers
James toney was old and clearly fat lmfao
The same thing happens when MMA fighters try boxing
Boxing is more reserved with less option, and when you’ve been doing that your whole life I can see why mma just wasn’t his thing
That's what will happen to Jake Paul if he fights Nate Diaz in MMA
If i was randy i wouldve took him down too 😂 hell nah im not trying to stand in there with tony
It shows you how useless and weak boxing is in a real fight. Everyone things they can land a haymaker and walk around flexing like a Diaz in their own fantasy world until they get awoken rudely and with the quickness
Dana did him dirty… this was back when mma still had a point to prove to other combat sports that they were essentially the pinnacle… Dana just wanted to show the world how much a well rounded fighter can dominate someone whos specialized in one aspect. Couture had crazy ground game they shoulda put toney up against other strikers first n given him time to develop if they viewed him as a real investment but they just wanted to use him as a spectacle to prove dana had the superior sport. Dana knew damn well that his boxing credentials werent enough to step in that cage with the likes of couture he was making an example of him. If toney was given time to develop he prolly woulda been a beast.
6 time UFC champion? Why is this never mentioned nowadays lol. Im slightly new having only watched since McGregor-Khabib but that stat is impressive.
Terrence Crawford spoke about boxers trying to fight MMA guys. He basically said “Don’t do it” 😂
Mma is more close to real fighting than boxing thats a fact not an opinion
Different story if they used marquis de Queensbury rules. Meh.
Damn I thought bro was derrick lewis
I mean idk what they were thinking putting him in their with randy. Dudes a beast and always had been lol. Much respect for this man changing sports and accepting this fight. He deffinatly has heart but too bad they threw him to the sharks for his first fight.
