“The Karate Kingdom”
A few months ago I was collecting money for an africal martial arts movie, to get the kids interested in acting and marial arts. The result is, that the first episode of the movie “The Karate Kindgom” has been filmed with 90 actors and still kids are writing to Franzy Mulenga the director, if they can participate in further episodes.
The film has been edited and will be available soon as download to own or streaming.
All the money that will be generated through the selling or streaming of the video will go back to Africa, so that more episodes can be filmed.
So what is ist all about?
“The Karate Kingdom”
A boy holds his ground against the king.
It is a hard way… but the martial art is on his side!
In a typical battle , the Mayo (Mother) and Tata( Father ) kingdom gets a into a land dispute.
The Mayo Kingdom becomes victorious bacause of the effort of the immigrate Karate boy who gets into the kingdom with an exotic Karate skill which he intends to share to all the young ones.
The boy’s skill does not fit well with the village chief as it is seen to be violent.
During one of the training sessions, the Karate boy defeats one of the other boys to the extent of fainting. One of the witnesses get the Karate boy reported to the chief for introducing such a violent perceived skill.
The furious chief wants to burn the boy’s mother to death to punish the boy according to the tradition!
Will he follow through with his plan?
Can the Karate Kid persuade the chef and win his trust or will he fail?

Vor ein paar Monaten sammelte ich Geld für einen afrikanischen Martial-Arts-Film, um die Kinder für die Kampkünste und Schauspielerei zu begeistern. Das Ergebnis ist, dass die erste Episode des Films “The Karate Kindgom” mit 90 Schauspielern gedreht wurde und immer noch schreiben Kinder an Franzy Mulenga, den Regisseur, ob sie in weiteren Episoden mitmachen können.

Der Film wurde bearbeitet und wird in Kürze als Download oder zum Streamen verfügbar sein.
Das gesamte Geld, das durch den Verkauf oder das Streaming des Videos generiert wird, fließt zurück nach Afrika, damit weitere Episoden gedreht werden können.

Worum geht es also?

“Das Karate-Königreich”
Ein Junge behauptet sich gegen den König.
Es ist ein harter Weg… aber die Kampfkunst ist auf seiner Seite!

In einer typischen Schlacht geraten das Königreich Mayo (Mutter) und Tata (Vater) in einen Streit.
Das Mayo-Königreich wird siegreich aufgrund der Bemühungen des eingewanderten Karate-Jungen, der mit seinen exotischen Karate-Fähigkeiten in das Königreich eindringt, die er an alle Jungen weitergeben möchte.
Die Fähigkeiten des Jungen passen dem Dorfvorsteher nicht, da er das als gewalttätig ansieht.
Während einer der Trainingseinheiten besiegt der Karate-Junge einen der anderen Jungen bis zur Ohnmacht. Einer der Zeugen zeigt den Karate-Jungen beim König an, weil er als gewalttätig empfundene Fähigkeiten demonstriert hat.

Der wütende König will die Mutter des Jungen verbrennen, um den Jungen nach der afrikanischen Tradition zu bestrafen!

Wird er seinen Plan werwirklichen?
Kann das Karate Kid den König überzeugen und sein Vertrauen gewinnen oder wird er scheitern?
