Almost everything we got was complete junk, none of it matched the description or picture of what we ordered and some things just never even showed up. There's another one I learned. well two…. maybe three.
One- that one.
two- if you throw it out straight, that sombitch is liable to come Straight back at you.
three- they come at you from weird angles you were not expecting.
four (and part of why they exist)- damn are they hard to block. this applies as much to the attacker as it does the defender.
Cold Steel used to sell a hair brush with a hidden spike in the grip, but it was completely made out of reinforced plastic, so it wouldn't trigger metal detectors. I think they still sell the spike alone, but without the hairbrush camouflage part.
No idea how they got away with that, especially back in Patriot Act days when people were still scared of real Muslim terrorists instead of made up white supremacist terrorists.
