I did this at my 2nd training and my neck hurt. I it normal ? My coach said movement was right.
Bjj is not jiu jitsu
My bjj couch always wants us to do this drill is really useful
He’s too close to be getting up at all.
You forgot to slide back
Nah I’m flipping backwards to gain some distance expect the unexpected
I know my back break fall and my front i do jujitsu and i also know the barel roll technique
Bruh legs, just kick the ball
Nah you have to make sure they’re away BEFORE trying to get up and if they’re too close then go back down.
They always say back up and spin while holding yourself up and kicking
Also fall to your side not your back
Wrong Technik sorry 🙈
Very common mistake (although I know one Gracie who teachers it that way.) You should not have your "open side" (your face is exposed because your hand is on the ground) facing his back-or power leg (this is the leg that he has to kick with). If you want to get smashed righ in the face in a real fight, do it reversed like this. This is what happens when people who dont fight, teach "self-defense'.
I prefer the normal BJJ way of not kicking the leg but you can do whatever you want
Hahahahahaha
Wow that was so cool how you used the force to keep your opponent still while you got up why didn't I think of that 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Looks very awkward getting up.
