Never attempt to dodge a gun pointed at you because who ever points the gun at you will not likely to pull the trigger if you comply. otherwise if you dodge, you have a slight chance to escape but more likely you are gonna die or severely injured. Somehow you're getting reality confused with the matrix. Distance is your friend. Most people can't put 5 out of 10 shots on a stationary sillouette target at 25 yards. Handgun hits to non vital areas are survivable and they won't even slow you down. He can't shoot accurately if he's running after you. Don't stop running to take cover. If you take cover he will pin you down with fire and walk up and shoot you. If he's got a rifle or shotgun say your prayers. Try bluffing him while you're running. "I've got you surrounded.". Or "Shoot at me one more time and you're going to jail." or "I'm going to let you off with a warning. Get in your car before I change my mind.". Or "Please God don't make me kill again.". Or "Hold your fire. I think we are related."
