Donnie Yen Chi-tan is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, and action director who was born on July 27, 1963. Yen is a prominent action star in Hong Kong. By choreographing MMA in many of his films from the early 2000s, Yen is largely recognized for introducing mixed martial arts (MMA) into mainstream Asian cinema.
