WHY YOU GOTTA WALK AROUND WITH A GUN?
YOU SUCH AN A-HOLE?
Hi Jason… I have an opinion on why people should leave lights off in the event of a late night break in. I believe they should due to their tactical advantage of knowing their house layout better than the perpetrators…In your opinion, what are the pros and cons to that rationale?
I just love how sifu Hansen has a flip cellphone to avoid being tracked or minimalize the risk, so pragmatic he is!😁👍
Great info!! TY
Awesome video Jason! Great Advise and techniques in defending yourself against the attacker. God bless brother!
great techniques
I have never seen dracula guard done where you cover your own eyes before
normally (in combat sports at least) it goes lower to protect your chin more than your eyes, I guess the main thing is it offers a lot of head protection either way
I heard Jason has like a huge weiner and it also does tactical weiner stuff its got like weiner vision googles, tactical weiner pen, weiner walther pppppk this guy is my superhero 😠😠😠😠😠😠😠
To you have any good knife defense techniques? Specifically pocket knifes, since those are a lot harder since they're lighter and smaller.
It also never hurts to have a feel for range.
Yo, so I got a bully in school and he hits my head for no reason at all. and I am always scared to punch someone cause if something serious would happen to him it would be my problem. But his hit gave me a bad headache so I should do something which would stop him from doing this to me also others. I don't want this to happen to others.
I like that you kept it simple
Good beginner tips. Two points from me the block he is using is in the majority of systems not called rhino it is just a cover. He said it but I guess the "not just stand there" should be a more clear. Here a video for a small introduction:

Great tips. While standing and intercepting blows with Dracula, be mindful to keep the elbow low enough to use as protection, but also not let the armpit area be too exposed as it's a sensitive target. In most cases if you're shorter than the aggressor it's not an issue, but just be mindful and practice these things with others, safely.
At 3:41 no concern with injuring your hands punching like that? In MMA even with wrapped and gloved hands the most common injury is broken hands.
These one work ..i was attacked ..it help me to not get knockouted . I use both hands and on end get onlly minor damage
The most common "street punch" is an overhand right and these techniques are good for that strike. However, it is important to note that you should have your opposite hand/arm up in defensive/counter strike posture also if it is not going for a weapon.
I as a teen had this ignorant belief that I needed to level up my anger to win a fight. This played out by my allowing my opponent to take a free shot in order to achieve that level of anger. That was the beginning of my learning from the school of hard knocks. I decided I didn’t like pain all that much and hopefully I’ve graduated from that school.
Instant subby.
😍🤩
It,s Bryan Callen!
5.14. Don't just stand there and get punched over and over again. As the haymaker comes in step into him trying to make contact with his face and your elbow. Once in close your left hand can grab him to take control and then you deliver multiple elbow strikes with your right elbow. Good video.
I subbed your chan approx 1 month ago. Just had to resub. I never unsubbed but then this happens a lot in YT. Just a heads-up
Jason we have some advancement techniques enhancement & advice for throwing knife in self-defense. See this one in response to your video. 😮😊 I remember a game we were playing as a kids with knife (knives) but throwing it off your hand (to start and ending on a forehead) to the ground from a short distance to make it landed & standing up. I loved it.

Thanks for your advice!
I’ve been training martial arts for about twenty years. I like what you show from the ground, but you must learn some basic Jiu Jitsu with it (bridging, shrimping, the technical standup, etc). Also, the Dracula block will obscure your sight and takes too long to throw up, and grabbing the back of your head in the helmet block is good if on the ground and getting punched, but otherwise it takes too much time when you should keep a fist and slip away from the punch (like in boxing). Learning some head movement as well as footwork is essential to getting good positioning for counters and escapes. In my humble opinion, there’s no way around it: one must regularly train a few basic fundamentals to make them instinctual, including doing a little sparring to get used to the feel of aggression and resistance, because simply knowing of a few tricks probably won’t cut it.
👍
Good techniques again. The "rhino/dracula" moves are great for "normal" non-martial arts people. Honestly I find a double arm guard version of this extremely useful. The only thing I'll say (and this is just an addendum, not a critique) is that it leaves your liver open. Learning to block with your elbows both high and low is key to good defense. What you're doing here is admirable in some ways, bringing defensive techniques to people who might not often see them, but the hard truth is that training is necessary, and it's an arms race of technique. You cannot be prepared for violence with bare bones anything. You NEED high level training to be effective. Good overview on upkicks and I like the jiu jitsu disclaimer.
Hello again. Jason can you imagen that in my country you can get in a lot of trouble when you use these weapons too defend youre self? Have a good weekend. From over here to over there.
Another good technique is learning to fight from the Fence. Hands out of front of you. Many UK doorman use this techniques to first warn the attack and put distance in between them. Then of course you are ready to throw a punch if necessary. Great video.
My teach showed me how easy he could take my weapon away from me.
I was puppied.
Dracula also protect your face and eyes against pepper spray ( gel spray )
Excellent video – highly instructive. Thank you.
Plastic handled scalpels can come in handy and don’t look like anything in a shirt pocket or elsewhere 😊
As per your ad, why does one need to be a “patriotic” American to defend against an attacker? And I’d be interested to learn how you define ”patriotic.” Thanks
The version of Bartitsu that I practice combines the "rhino" with a jab in a Wing Chun style.
Be more evil than the evil before you yet I try not to be in these situations.
I've known about the "helmet" or Rhino defense for quite a while from videos from other self-defense teachers on YouTube. But I never felt I was holding the "helmet" solid enough. But holding the back of the neck feels great and solid and really positions my elbows great. Wonderful video! Thank you!
This is such valuable information you may have saved many lives thank you
Everything, anything can be a weapon. Even a rolled-up newspaper. Even if just as a distraction to your opponent while you use an open-hand technique to the windpipe.
Jason, if you and I were next-door neighbors we'd be fast friends. I'm an old retired Army E8, Airborne Infantryman. But, you're right on the mark about the Rino/Dracula cover. You need to come out of that very aggressively! While you have your elbow up you might be able to use it in an uppercut fashion of a perp's throat or chin as a distraction while going for your pistol/knife to give him a real problem…
Yes, dry valuable, thanks
Nice to see these techniques documented.
I can tell you all from personal experience that the "rhino" technique works.
In 2019, I ended up the victim of a kidnapping in Detroit. A quick cannabis buy while waiting for my greyhound bus turned into be held against my will in an apartment building not far from seven mile road. I obviously didn't inquire, but I think they were 7 mile bloods.
Anyway, tried to escape & got drug & thrown into a small closet where I was beat senseless for about 5 minutes by 4 men.
As someone with birth injuries to my head (essentially a tbi) the rhino saved my life.
Honestly Sir, you’re correct. Thank you for sharing so much information. I truly appreciate you and all you’ve been doing to help others. God, bless you and your family.
God bless you too man! Stay safe out there!
Women, put down your cell phones when exiting a store and put your head on a swivel. I see so many vulnerable women while picking up my wife.
One other thing: military-me likes the way you stress switching over to the offensive.
AMAZING KEEP MAKING ❤❤❤❤❤❤
